Furthermore, most programs have strict eligibility criteria, especially age requirements, and require weeks or months of advance planning for essays and recommendations. For example, not being 16 at the time made me ineligible for many research positions. By the time I had found meaningful programs, the deadlines were usually past due or too close to submit a strong application.

When talking to my peers, I noticed a frustrating trend: the students who secured slots in these incredible programs usually found out about them through family networks or personal contacts.

Believing that access to education should be driven by merit and curiosity rather than privilege, I decided to develop a solution. I built HS Programs with the goal to provide a centralized search tool where students can easily narrow down options based on their interests and eligibility without spending hours just researching programs.
